The life and crimes of Jesse James Hollywood seems like something only found in the movies, but, sadly, the kidnapping and murder of 15-year-old Nicholas Markowitz, which he was behind, was very real. In this episode, Alysa tells, Lauren, about the case of how a popular, young drug dealer became the mastermind behind a devastating crime that occurred over a small debt. Besides detailing the case, they also discuss the movie, Alpha Dog, which is based on the case, how Hollywood was able to influence his friends and crew, and why bystanders may not act in emergency situations. All sources are located in show notes and any images are posted on the Instagram account.
