In this episode, Alysa talks about a case of unrequited love that ended in the murder of Tatiana “Tanya” Tarasoff in 1969. The murder, at the hands of Prosenjit Poddar, would become central to changing the laws related to the duty of mental health professionals to provide warnings and protection to third parties.
